As well as freelance content writing and copywriting for businesses large and small, I’ve contributed editorial features to national publications and websites.

These include first-person lifestyle essays for Metro UK and Bolde, and mental health features for Refinery29 and Sad Runner.

I’ve also contributed fashion content for the Nottingham Post newspaper and been featured in LOOK magazine for my fashion expertise.

Although I am new to the journalism world, I have a passion for storytelling and sourcing experts to help people through the written word, whether this is by elevating their personal style to boost their confidence or offering wellness tips so that they feel happier in their everyday life.

I have a diploma in Freelance Journalism Level 3 from the College of Media and Publishing. Some of the most valuable modules that I studied included:

  • How to locate and interview sources
  • How to use a style guide
  • Newswriting and feature writing
  • Media law and IPSO
  • Press release and report writing

I have since put the theory into practice when I decided to become a full-time freelance writer in 2017.

Alongside working closely with other businesses on their communications, I own and manage my own fashion, travel and wellness blog The aim is to help busy women dress, travel and live stylishly.
